With a stunning video display, every co-worker stays engaged throughout the entire meeting. Students want to raise their hands and be enthusiastic participants in class or lectures. Passers-by can’t help but stop to take in the visually appealing content on a storefront across the street, and congregations stay informed in the church lobby or get inspired in the worship space. More and more, professional video displays are being used to make all that happen and then some. The BRAVIA® line from Sony is a high-quality solution, purpose-built for the above scenarios, with sizes for a wide variety of spaces (32”-100”), flexible installation options making it easier on integrators and users alike, and most importantly, superior visuals. Below, we’ll try and help you find the perfect attention-grabbing panel for your space.
The Widest Range of Sizes and Advanced Tech
New BZ30J models
The brand new BZ30J models feature the latest in Sony display technology, for truly marvelous imagery, with a variety of sizes to pick from. Whether that’s the 32” version for a huddle space, which still benefits from the same high picture quality as its bigger brothers, or the 55”, which is perfect for a conference room or retail display. And the 75” is eye-popping even from the last row of the lecture hall or across the largest corporate lobbies. 8 million pixels bring extra clarity to its true 4K image resolution (3840 x 2160). Content loading is easy with their intuitive Android™ OS operating system, and integrated mirroring functionality through both Chromecast and AirPlay2 offers seamless connection from almost any device. Plus, Pro Mode allows for quick customization with a One Step Setting for instant optimization between different applications at the touch of a button. BRAVIA displays make it easy for an integrator/contractor to make them look amazing and then to show end-users how to do it, too.

Let’s spend another minute on Pro Mode. It’s available on every BRAVIA Professional Display. And even though it’s intuitive and easy to use, it’s also feature-rich and includes settings that are useful to many of the applications mentioned already. In a boardroom, for instance, Wake-up on Signal gets the proceedings started quickly as the screen comes to life and commands attention as soon as it detects an HDMI connected device, like the laptop from the meeting leader. While Optimize PC Display does just that, it resizes and preserves the aspect ratio, so the image on the presenter’s laptop screen is faithfully reproduced on the big screen, and presentations look like they were intended to. In a classroom, Pro Mode Lock allows the teacher to set and change a PIN that would be required for any setting changes on the display. And when used for retail, Power Scheduling comes in handy for setting times for the display to turn on or off automatically. What’s more, Pro Mode easily toggles between the Normal and Pro Settings menus, so inexperienced users have access to simple functionality without getting bogged down in menus. When in Pro Settings, an updated interface has descriptions of each function right on the screen, so there’s no need to consult the manual. It’s a nice feature for when you’re really getting into some of the more sophisticated things these screens can do.
For Stepping-Up Presentations
New BZ35J Series
Everything we said above, but brighter and with a faster refresh rate. These are the new BZ35J high-end models, which achieve greater brightness of 560-570 nits (compared with the 300-440 nits of the models above) and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate (compared to 60Hz). At these specs, animations and videos will absolutely pop off the screen, and text is razor-sharp, making them ideal for sales presentations to clients that you really want to impress. And all BRAVIA Professional Display models offer support for landscape, portrait or tilt orientations, so ideal for tricky installations.

Both of the series employ a new System on a Chip (SoC) platform with an integrated Android™ OS that uses an intuitive interface, allows for quick boot up, and makes it easy to use your favorite apps on the screen. Sony’s latest 4K HDR processor X1™ combines with what they call TRILUMINOS PRO tech and is responsible for the remarkable picture quality and their widest color palette and best color accuracy yet.
These displays were also built to be collaboration tools with support for both Chromecast and AirPlay2 built-in, so meeting participants can easily share their content from their own devices. And the Meeting Room app has a whole suite of features to facilitate communication in the conference room. While the Web U/I allows for control of the screen from a browser on an admin computer or mobile device on the same network, for easy operation from across the boardroom table. Plus, the IP Control Platform plays nice with a variety of third-party partners, making them easier to install.
A Stunning Screen For Retail and More
New BZ40H Series

At up to 85” and up to 850 nits, the BZ40H line is ideal for retail signage. Digital kiosks for outside the store invite customers in, and in-store video displays promote offers and products once they get inside. X-Motion Clarity technology makes for smoother reproduction of fast-moving imagery, perfect for video ads. Content management is easy, with no set-top box or additional hardware to buy. The built-in HTML5 player is designed for media-rich 4K resolution. And all screens are remotely controllable, saving time and hassle for busy store staff. Of course, all these features are useful if you want a larger screen in the conference room or classroom, too.
But when you’re ready to really make an impact, let’s meet the BRAVIA flagship below…
Go Big… Really Big
FW-100BZ40J
The closest thing to a guarantee that your messaging will leave an impression. The biggest and brightest display in the BRAVIA professional lineup cannot be missed and is ideal for corporate lobbies, gathering spaces at large houses of worship, or even executive boardrooms if you really mean business. The FW-100BZ40J pops with 600 nits (typical)/940 nits (peak) of brightness and uses a Full Array Local Dimming backlight to assure superb picture quality in a variety of lighting situations. Integrators should note that this huge display comes equipped with a built-in carrying handle for assistance in moving and installing.

100” of 4K HDR isn’t for every space or every budget, clearly—that’s why the BRAVIA professional lineup includes so many sizes. But if you’ve got the room and the means to make sure you’re not leaving anything on the table, you won’t be disappointed with your new marvel of video messaging.
So, those are the basics of why you might want a video display in your space, and a rundown of one of the best, wide-ranging, and most dazzling series on the market. BRAVIA professional displays are a premium signage solution for improving the performance of your team, growing your business, immersing your students, or keeping your congregation coming back for more.
